We want to express our continued gratitude to our families for their support of our staff and students at Woodglen. It has been great having our in-person students back in session and we’re pleased to continue supporting our remote learning students virtually.

When to Keep Your Child at Home
If your child, you, or another member of your household is sick or has any symptoms, stay home.
These symptoms include:
Loss of taste or smell
Fever 100.4 or greater
New or unexplained persistent cough
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
Runny nose or congestion
Muscle or body aches
Keeping your child at home helps prevent others in the school setting from experiencing these symptoms and needing to possibly be quarantined. It is one of the key factors to keeping our school open for in-person learning.
Student Pick-Up After School Each Day
It is important that families make arrangements to have their children picked up on time each day after school; 3:00 on Monday, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, 1:45 on Wednesdays. Our staff has planning sessions and meetings that prevent them from being able to wait outside. You may also contact our BASE program (Before and After school program) if you have childcare needs at 720-972-5709. The link below has more information regarding BASE:
We will be holding parent conferences during the day on 2/12 and one other evening between 2/10-2/18 selected by the classroom teacher and our instructional staff. You should have access to a sign up link. Please contact your child’s teacher or the staff member you would like to meet with for more details.
Take the 2020-21 Family-School Relationships Survey
(hyperlinked to www.adams12.org/familysurvey)
Please take a moment to complete the survey above. Our goal is to have all of our families participate and share their thoughts and experiences with us. To date, only 13 families have done so. Last year, our school won a $100 prize based upon our improved rates of participation! I would love to repeat that this year.
● The survey is open now to Feb. 19, 2021 and is completely anonymous.
● The survey is expected to take between 5-10 minutes and can be taken in English,
Spanish or nine other languages on your smartphone, tablet, or computer.
● If you have children at different schools, we encourage you to fill out a survey for each
● Survey data is benchmarked nationally and compared to the Five Star staff and student survey to create a comprehensive understanding of the school’s culture and climate.
Survey results will be made available to families by the end of the school year.
Spring Book Fair
We are having our Spring Book fair online starting Feb. 8th and running through Feb. 21st. Help your students become better readers by encouraging them to read more. The best way to encourage more reading is by buying books they love to read. By supporting our book fair, you also enable the library to buy more books for the entire school to use. It is a win win for everyone. Feb. 8th - Feb. 21st Online book fair
