Ms. Black's Class
Welcome Friends and Families!First, let me start by saying that I miss you all and hope you are doing well and staying healthy! Until we can be back in school learning together again, we will use our art room class page as a springboard to keep our Wildcats creating and exploring the world of art. Through our school webpage, you will find the Onward link to help you log in to the districts RapidIdentity Dashboard and find the schoology site where you can access all of your classes, including art! Once there, you will be able to get connected and start creating. I can't wait to see you all, Ms. Black
Art Expectations for Remote Learning:
While we are in the digital art room with remote learning, we will follow the Woodglen Remote Learning Guidelines. In addition to those guidelines, it is expected that students will come to Specials ready to learn.
In the art room, this looks like students starting class with the materials they need to work each day. This includes having their sketchbook/Folder with blank paper ready to go, a pencil and eraser for drawing and writing as well as a variety of tools for coloring. I will let students know at the beginning of each rotation if and when other materials will be needed. If a students does not have access to specific or recommended supplies, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. I will do my absolute best to adapt our lessons so that students can use the tools they have and still be successful!
Reccommended Tools and Materials for students to be successful:
- Sketchbook/Pocket Folder filled with blank paper (copy paper)
- Pencils & Eraser
- Watercolor Paint tray w/Brush
- Coloring Tools: Crayons, Markers, Colored Pencils
