Welcome to Virtual Learning in 2nd Grade
Weekly Learning Boards
Our students have been using Google Classroom all year. Since they are familiar with it, we will continue to use that platform to deliver lessons in this remote learning space. Student’s have been given their login information, if you need it please let your classroom teacher know and they can send you the information.
Click on your teacher's name to see their Weekly Learning Board. The learning boards are also posted in each of our Google Classrooms.
The following is when each second grade teacher will be online and available to support you and your student. We recognize that these office hours may not work with your at home schedule. You can message/email your teacher outside of these hours with the understanding you may not receive an immediate response. You are also welcome to contact one of the other 2nd grade teachers during their office hours.

All assignments for the week will be posted on Monday at 8:00am through Friday at 3:00pm. Your student will have one week to complete the assignments for that week. All assignments will be graded on the 1-4 grading scale (1 - no effort, 2- needs improvement, 3- meets standard, 4- exceeds standard)
Attendance will be taken on a weekly basis. We will take attendance on Friday afternoon based on the number of assignments your student has completed. In order to get marked as "present", your child needs to complete a minimum of 60% of tasks/assignments on the Learning Board within the subject area (Math, DLI, Foundational Reading, Reading, Writing, Social Studies) per week. Otherwise, they will be marked as "absent".
