Meet Our Teachers
Hi, my name is Melissa Black. I have been teaching art since 2010 and I am excited to start yet another year here at Woodglen in the art room! I love helping my students along their creative journey and watching them grow each year as they gain confidence in themselves as young artists. When I am not in the art room, I enjoy spending time with my friends, family and my fur babies. I also love to cook and bake and have started to share the artistic side of that with my students through club activities when I can!

I love seeing the independence, confidence, and respect students gather in my classroom. When my students take care of one another in games/activities it is just a proud experience. When I'm not teaching I'm probably playing volleyball, working out, baking, paddle boarding, or playing pickelball. I love spending time outside with my family and friends.

My name is Zoe Zanoff. I moved from California to Colorado in 2019 to pursue my Masters in Music Education at Colorado State University. I am now in my 3rd year of teaching, and my first year at Woodglen! Music has been a part of my life since the age of 9, and I love sharing the joy of music with students in the classroom. After school, I work for a youth orchestra and run a studio where students receive private music instruction. In my free time, I love reading, crafts, and spending time with friends and family.
