Battle of the Books

 

This district program encourages kids to read by offering them exciting, friendly competition based on their knowledge of a group of books.  The goal of the program is to encourage the interactive reading of excellent children's fiction and discussion of these books in small teams.  Students read at least 5 of the 10 books, discuss them, and then compete in teams to answer questions based on the books in a "quiz show" format.

District Battle: April 29th at Silver Hills Middle School at 5:30pm

Dismissal: Students will be escorted to BASE or through the main doors by the flag pole for pick up/walking home. Please make sure your students know their dismissal plan! Please pick your child up on time.
