2024 Bond Program, Investing in Student Success

Woodglen Elementary School Bond Projects

Woodglen Elementary is slated to receive a wide range of improvements through the 2024 bond, with between $3 million and $3.6 million in planned projects. 

Inside the building, students and staff will see refreshed classrooms and shared spaces with new furniture and finishings, all of which are designed to support more comfortable, adaptable learning environments.The gym floor will also be replaced. Building systems will be improved with modernized heating and cooling equipment, updated electrical components and improved lighting.

Safety enhancements funded by the bond include new fire alarms, classroom door locks and exterior door sensors. Connectivity will also be strengthened with upgraded Wi-Fi and network cabling, in addition to improved cell coverage throughout the building.

Outside the building, bond investments include updates to landscaping, irrigation repairs, new playfields and new playground equipment. These updates will provide a safer, more reliable and welcoming environment for the Woodglen community.

Bond Investment Areas at Woodglen Elementary

The 2024 bond is focused on improving and updating facilities across the district. All bond projects will benefit students, staff and the community by investing in our buildings and – by extension – investing in our community. These investments vary from paving and resurfacing projects to major interior and exterior overhauls to update school furnishings and finishes. 

All schools are also receiving comprehensive IT upgrades through the 2024 bond. These upgrades will support faster network connections and support advanced classroom tools. IT projects will also boost school safety and security, with improved security cameras, exterior door sensors and updated safety systems.
