Hello, I'm Miss Jordan Barlow! This is my first year teaching and I am beyond excited to be teaching third grade here at Woodglen. I graduated last December, from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. I am passionate about inspiring learners through a creative and innovative approach. I believe that education is the foundation for every student’s success, and is especially crucial during the early elementary years. My purpose as a teacher is to nurture brilliant minds and to enhance learning while cultivating an inspiring environment, while providing sufficient resources. My strongest and most pure form of communication is writing, which I really enjoy. I also love reading. I really like to have fun in whatever I do, and I like to make people laugh. There are quite a few jokesters in my family that I compete with. I am a risk-taker and I believe in living an abundant life, beyond the status-quo, and beyond the American dream. I believe in generosity and living with open hands. My parents have always taught me to be humble and kind, and to take life’s challenges as opportunities to be stronger and greater than I was before. I am most excited about creating relationship with my kiddos and inspiring hard-work, kindness, community and a passion for learning.
I am always available. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.
