As a school social worker since 1996, 1999 in Adams 12 Five Star Schools, I have worked as a school social worker at all academic levels and in many buildings. I enjoy helping students learn to stay calm and develop social problem solving skills to become more and more independent in the academic setting. Interventions can and do occur at many levels, including whole classroom guidance SecondStep and Bully Prevention in addition to small social skills groups and 1:1 discussions. If you and your family are in need of outside resources such as extra food, financial services, appropriate insurance, etc., I can help you get connected to what you need.
As a fourth generation Coloradoan, I love to play outside. I am an avid skier, hiker, and gardener. You can find my dog, Maggie Rose, and me playing outside somewhere. I play the violin in the Jefferson Symphony Orchestra, performing several concerts each year. In addition, I play in the Boulder Messiah Sing-a-Long every December. I’ve been playing violin since fourth grade. My yoga practice grounds everything that I do. I am always eager to try something new if it sounds fun.
